Lakeside painters recently re-stained and varnished our front door. Before the work began, Tyler went over what the plan would be to address the weather worn areas so they would blend seamlessly with the rest of the wood. The door looks brand new now! This summer we had the pleasure to watch Lakeside Painter in action. We watched Tyler's crew paint the exterior of our neighbors home. I was so impressed with their work effort, attention to detail and going the extra distance to deliver an excellent client experience. We were so impressed, we asked Tyler and Lakeside Painters to take on our home and paint all of our exterior windows.
Having owned our home for 44 years, we had previously had our window painted. I must say they were the BEST! Prepping for 3 days and then painting for 2-3 days.
The crew showed up early each day and sometime painter till 8:30 pm to catch the day light and move the project along.
This work effort is sometimes lacking with other Home Renovation companies.

I have a cottage that had not been painted in 30+ years. Contacted Tyler for a quote to paint the structure, gable trim and facia. They did a great job prepping and finishing the work. The work was done quickly and I was constantly advised of progress on a daily basis. When I had a chance to physically see the work I did note a few deficiencies. These were immediately corrected to my satisfaction. All in all great work and good people to deal with.

This is the second time in a year that we’ve hired Lakeside and they never disappoint. They are very professional, transparent and they make sure we are satisfied with the work performed. This time, we hired them to paint our basement ceiling black and they did their due diligence in ensuring that they used the best, most high quality paint for this type of job, all while confirming multiple times that it was ok to use in households for the safety of our family. Matt and Tyler work hard to provide outstanding service, and they hire friendly, respectful staff that work very efficiently.

Since a sprayer was used to paint the ceiling,
a lot of our personal belongings were speckled in the industrial paint which was extremely hard (and is some cases impossible) to remove. We had put up our own poly to help prep the basement and block off some sections where we had stored everything, so in hindsight, we would have liked to have them set up the poly or at least check that the poly we put up was in fact properly installed since they have more experience and know how much the paint can travel when sprayed. This however does not change our rating. The owners brought us a bunch of cleaning supplies and offered to help us clean which was very kind.

We recommend Lakeside for any paint job, interior or exterior, as we have now done both and are satisfied with the service and end results.

We recently moved into our next home—a quiet little nest with good bones but plenty of wear. The interior was dark, dated, and damaged. Walls and ceilings were painted brown. Door hardware was decades old and layered in paint. Drywall was rough, and baseboards and casings had seen better days. I was anxious about how it would all come together.

Lakeside Painters came in and gave our space the fresh start it so very much needed.

They painted every wall, ceiling, and door. Repaired and replaced where needed—including full drywall in one room—and installed new baseboards, casings, and hardware throughout. The lighting upgrades we had done alongside their work brought in even more brightness, and the transformation is beyond what we imagined.

What really stood out, though, was the way the project was managed by Tyler and Matt. We always had a direct line of communication, and everything was handled with care and transparency. From the beginning, they were upfront about working with an older home—it wouldn’t be perfect like new construction—yet it now feels surprisingly close to new!

I am very happy with the work completed by Lakeside Painters. Communication and coordination was a breeze. Our house has plaster walls, and the previous paint had significant deficiencies. The job required extensive patching, sanding, and repeating and the guys did an excellent job. I am more than satisfied with the work. They painted the interior of our older home that had a lot of challenges - peeling paint, many layers of previous painting in other areas that had buildup, nicks and dings... I want to thank Tyler and Matt for such a wonderful job they did on our little cottage . The cottage is only 11 years old and we as everyone else who has a cottage are so busy with city jobs and house chores to keep up with everything and weekends are full of cabin jobs upkeep and current projects so we dropped the ball on the upkeep of the exterior of our cabin and it was looking in pretty ruff shape with not much time or money to keep everything up and running smoothly Tyler and Matt understood our situation without having a vast amount of funds to hire someone to do the complete job we choose to do the prep ourselves sanding , pressure wash ect With not being sure where to start with such a huge undertaking upon us Tyler and Matt came to our remote location a couple hour drive by car plus 5 miles down the lake in a little 8 hp tiny boat to assess our predicament and offer advice we knew we wanted to hire them to do the complete staining job as we knew physically we could not do both prep plus the staining at our age as seniors with limited funds so they come down to give us a quote for the staining job but also to educate us on how to do a correct job in the prep for them to get started they were so helpful in teaching us the proper way to do the sanding and proper tools to use to do the best possible job to make there job of sanding go smooth they were so patient with us as we were slow and couple weeks behind but they worked around us waiting for our thumbs up when we were ready for them when we were finally ready they were there when they were done the cottage looks brand new now beautiful i had no idea what a great job they would have done until i saw it i cant say enough how happy we are that we choose Tyler and Matt to restore our cottage to look new again They took there time and care at all the little details and its beautiful again Thank you Tyler and Matt i hope you are able to come back when the next staining is due to continue to keep our cottage looking wonderful Thank you so much Lynn and Art

Hands down the easiest experience I've ever had working with a trade. Tyler was super responsive and professional as was his team. They provided multiple colour swatches to help us choose the ideal colour for the exterior of our property. The communication was great and they did everything as promised on time and at the agreed upon price. It was so easy to work with them. Our investment property had old peeling paint and was in rough shape. It had been a long time since it had been painted. Tyler even brought in a carpenter to do some repairs that were necessary before they painted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

I met Tyler and Matt last summer when I had some quotes being done by a few businesses to redo our deck. I immediately felt at ease with them and their pricing was fair and competitive. Their crew did a great job and I reached out again a few months ago to have some inside painting done this summer. The painting is done and the house looks amazing! Luis was our painter and he did a great job with a bedroom, a spare room, our kitchen and our very dingy (no longer) back hall that leads downstairs. Luis prepped, painted and cleaned up. Recently hired Lakeside to paint my fascia and vents.

The old paint was peeling really bad and there were cracks in between the fascia boards.

The painter did a fantastic job with prep work, and sanded the boards to the point where there was little to no ghost lines. Cracks in the fascia were filled.

They were quick to fit me in the schedule and got the job done quickly.

The pricing was reasonable, and Tyler was happy to create multiple quotes based on the different options we were considering.

I would recommend Lakeside painters primarily due to the high standard that the owners hold the painters to. Even if a painter is new and still learning, they will make sure that prep work is done to satisfaction and there are no streaks in the final product.
